The Daksi hopper project will be delivered in 2013,
considering that the work of the second phase has a higher rate of 65%
significant progress, despite the difficulties in moving the different
networks, telephone cables and water pipes.
According to the head office of the technical
achievements of Constantine Directorate of Public Works Mohamed Haber, who
spoke at the regional radio, "the difficulties that were faced concerned
the work of moving the cable Networks of telephone lines, pipes sanitation of
waste-water and those relating to the AEP. Thus the problem of telephone cables
has been solved in the second phase now by maintaining the network suspended in
the air, taking the necessary precautions not to damage them.
Regarding the sewerage system, we first conducted an overlap
of different sizes, 600 mm and 800 mm, which required a widening of more than 8
meters. Finally, the moving of the pipe network water supply, experienced
during the second phase, a progress of more than 80%. And more than 50% of new
pipelines or those displaced have been commissioned and operational, said the
same official. And also because of the significant progress in carrying out the
work of moving the different networks, the Public Works Department expects to
deliver Daksi hopper project in early 2013, with the hope that the weather
conditions are favorable and will not interfere with these predictions.
This project required a budget of 34 billion dinars, the
work of the hopper itself on its facilities and reinforcement of cement, is
currently at 75%, concluded the head of the Public Works Department.
